Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 October 2026. Seller: Illia Bilous (Bilous Illia Oleksandrovych), individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Rivne, Ukraine.
1. What Shoalcheck is
Downloadable software (CLI, desktop app, MCP server) that reads a Kubernetes cluster read-only from your own machine. There is no hosted service and no account.
2. Licence
The repository is open-core. Parts listed in LICENSE are Apache-2.0. Everything else is proprietary (LICENSE-PROPRIETARY): you may use it under a plan, but not copy, modify, redistribute it, or use it to build a competing product without written permission.
3. Plans and keys
Free, Pro (up to 3 clusters in 30 days), Team (up to 20), Business (up to 100). Prices are shown at purchase. A licence key is signed, checked offline, and carries its plan, expiry and cluster cap. Pro keys bind to cluster fingerprints. Keys are for your own use; do not share them.
4. Purchase through Paddle
Paddle is the merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, VAT/sales tax and invoices, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. See the Refund Policy.
5. Your responsibility
You decide what access to grant. Shoalcheck is read-only by design, but you are responsible for the credentials and permissions you give it, and for how you use its output.
6. No warranty
The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of findings or cost figures.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the seller is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may cancel any time. The seller may end a licence for breach of these terms. Keys already issued run to their expiry.
9. Law and contact
Governing law and courts: the law of Ukraine and the courts of Ukraine, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence. Contact: support@shoalcheck.com. Security reports: GitHub private vulnerability reporting or security@shoalcheck.com (see SECURITY.md).
